Durable ICON 2.5 Series Rear Shocks

ICON has created the 2.5 Series Rear Shocks w/CDCV to boost the performance and ride quality of your 4Runner both on and off-road. The shocks are completely rebuildable and revalvable, adding to the durability and longevity of the system. The shocks feature a 7/8″ induction-hardened, chrome-plated shaft and one-piece digressive piston design that provide unsurpassed performance in any situation. Leveling the rear-end of your SUV is simple, with the shocks being capable of up to 3″ of rear lift. The 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components and 1026 DOM steel shock body provide maximum durability and give the system rust and corrosion resistance. The CDC valve is able to be adjusted externally with the twist of a knob. The adjustment restricts oil flow through the reservoir, which creates 10 levels of high-resolution compression. Additional Damping Force From Remote Reservoirs

ICON’s reservoirs are built to the same exacting standards as the shocks themselves. The reservoirs hold extra oil away from the shock body, which significantly improves cooling for a drastic reduction in fade over standard internal reservoir shocks. These reservoirs provide an additional 20% of damping force, which helps prevent the shocks from bottoming out and controls suppression at high velocity. The reservoirs come with everything you need, including hoses, mounting brackets, and hardware.

The ICON VS 2.5 Series Remote Reservoir Rear Shocks w/CDCV are fast and easy to install. The installation only requires a few tools and a jack and can typically be completed in a couple of hours.
