Maximizes your 2017-2020 Ford Raptor’s Approach Angle for Aggressive Off-Roading
While the 2017-2020 Ford Raptors have a better approach angle than a standard F150 or other full-size truck, but it’s not all that great when compared to purpose-built off-road trucks or rock-crawl trucks. That’s where the ADD Pro Series front off-road bumper comes in. Specifically designed to maximize your 2017-2020 Ford Raptor’s approach angle to get over those tough obstacles and handle undulating terrain without coming into contact with your Raptor’s bumper or skid plate. The Pro Series bumper requires a high-mount intercooler relocation kit, like the 2017-2020 Ford Raptor Intercooler Kit from Full-Race. As well as increasing approach angle, the Pro Series Bumper also increases tire clearances, letting you squeeze on larger tires than stock. Each bumper even features a mount that can accept a 20″ Radius LED light bar or up to seven 3″ cube lights to help improve your Raptor’s off-road light output.
Mandrel-Bent Steel Tubing with Aluminum Skid Plate and Powder Coat Finish
Despite of its low-profile and compact design, each Pro Series Front Bumper is built tough to handle practically any off-road application that you have in mind for your hyper-aggressive 2017-2020 Ford Raptor build. The bumper is built out of a frame of mandrel-bent tubular steel with .120″ wall thickness that is expertly welded together by ADD at their Mesa, Arizona, headquarters. The bumper comes with an aluminum skid plate for protecting your Raptor’s steering rack and other vital components which hugs as close as possible to your Raptor to maximize its approach angle without sacrificing protection. The main body of the bumper features a Hammer Black powder coat finish, while the skid plate receives a satin black power coat finish for a great two-tone look that fits in perfectly with practically any Raptor paint color or styling theme.
Can Fit Multiple Light Bar and Off-Road LED Light Combinations
The bumper requires some trimming of your Raptor’s frame horns for installation, as well as a high-mount intercooler for proper fitment. Just above its skid plate, the Pro Series Bumper features a light mount that can accept a 20″ radius LED light bar to provide your Raptor with excellent forward-facing light output. The bumper’s multi-mount design can also accept up to seven individual 3″ off-road rube lights or a combination of light bars and cube lights so that you can tailor your Raptor’s lighting setup to your application. Each Pro Series Bumper comes with all its necessary hardware and installation instructions.
Required Frame Trimming: this bumper requires some amount of frame trimming for installation.
High-Mount Intercooler Required: the Pro Series Bumper requires ADD’s Pro-Series High-Mount Intercooler Kit which can be purchased from our drop-down menu above. Unfortunately, no other intercooler will work with bumper, and a custom intercooler setup will be required if you don’t wish to use ADD’s intercooler.
