On this particular year range of Super Duty’s, internal leaks are fairly common with the factory unit and drastically decrease your truck’s overall reliability. This intercooler from aFe Power alleviates that thanks to it’s heavy duty construction and dyno-tested design. Part of the construction features billet aluminum inlet and outlets for maximum strength. This intercooler is assembled by TIG-welding for race-proven strength and durability. It also features a 4-1/2″ bar and plate core that provides greater airflow over stock and is extremely durable.

Easy Bolt-On Installation Process That Reuses Stock Fittings

The installation process for this is easy because it is a direct replacement for what is already on your truck. aFe Power included premium clamps and silicone hoses that help promote long life, perfect fit, and strength. Another part of the construction of this intercooler is that it’s end tanks are constructed out of heavy duty 3/16″ TIG-welded aluminum plates. aFe Power also created this product with a sharp bushed finished that is fitted with a unique laser-etched aFe Power logo for a custom look.
