The stock fuel pump on your 2011-2016 F250 or F350 does its job in most applications, but if you’re consistently hauling massive loads or towing fifth wheels, you want something that can handle the increased fuel pressure. That’s where aFe Power’s Boost-Activated Fuel Pump comes in, good for 8-10 PSI so that you can safe-guard your fuel system for intensive application. Just about everything in aFe Power’s Boost-Activated Fuel Pump has been optimized for heavy-duty towing and hauling, from the high-quality “marine grade” motor to the quieter, smoother helical spur gears. This boost-activated fuel pump is only engaged under load, allowing your truck to run on the stock fuel pump under lighter loads to reduce wear and tear on the aFe pump.
Easy Plug-and-Play Installation
The aFe Power Boost-Activated Fuel Pump is built with a clear, high-impact polycarbonate sight glass to allow for visual inspection of fuel. The CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum manifold eliminates porosity concerns that you get with a standard cast aluminum manifold. The high-quality helical spur gears ride on PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) bearing surfaces to minimize noise and wear, providing long-term dependability. The supplied harness attaches directly to the battery and utilizes Deutsch weather-proof connectors. Best of all, no cutting or modifications of the stock fuel lines will be required for installation so that you can easily return to stock if needed. The assembly features a 1/8? NPT port so that you can attach an external pressure gauge and monitor fuel pressure.
