This Large Bore-HD exhaust system is specially designed with inter-cooled tailpipes which helps reduce overall exhaust gas temperatures at the tailpipe. It is also hand mig-welded with smooth transition bends that allow for low turbulence and increasing both horsepower and torque. This system also incorporates a mitered merge collector to eliminate any dead space that can cause turbulence or hinder any sort of flow.
Easy Bolt-On Installation Process With Minimal Cutting
The installation process requires minimal cutting and utilizes all factory mounting locations that provide stability. The process also requires cutting behind the DPF unit. Be sure to consult the detailed instruction manual that comes with this system for further information regarding cab configurations that are specific to your truck. Included with purchase are OE-style bayonet hangers which are used to maintain a stable pipe location during high vibration and high heat conditions. This system also includes a high quality OE style flange for a complete 360 degree sealing surface. The tip of the bayonet holds the hanger bushing in place for an OE-Style fit that lasts. At the very end of the system is two 5″ diameter, matte black, stainless steel slash cut tip with inter-cooling vents. On this tip is a unique stainless steel laser-cut aFe Power logo plate is riveted on for an aggressive style.
