Huge Improvement in Performance and Fade Resistance
We knew it was going to be hard to top the 3.0 Rear Shocks that came on the 2017-2018 Raptors from the factory, but Fox has managed to do it with their 3.0 Factory Series Rear Shocks that feature an external bypass design and recirculating remote reservoirs with a finned design to promote awesome levels of cooling so that your 2017-2018 Raptor never suffers from fade, no matter how hard you push it off-road. The Fox 3.0 Bypass Recirculating Reservoir rear shocks can even handle 0-1″ of extra ride height, allowing you to install larger blocks or +1 leaf packs without issues. The 3.0 shock’s external bypass system is even fitted with Fox’s Quick Adjust Bypass (QAB) system that allows you to adjust oil flow through the bypass tubes to perfectly dial in your Raptor’s ride and performance. Massive 3″ Diameter Shock Body with Recirculating Bridged Remote Reservoirs with Cooling Fins
The Fox Factory Series 3.0 Rear Shocks are purpose-built to improve the performance of your mighty 2017-2018 Raptor, all while squeezing out just enough extra ride height for a great look and improved tire clearance. The 3.0 Shock is built around a massive 3″ diameter shock body made out durable steel with a proprietary coating that gives the shocks awesome durability. The shocks feature a 7/8″ 17-4 H900 stainless steel shaft that’s hard chrome plated for corrosion resistance. Fox carefully tuned the valving inside each shock in order to provide excellent off-road performance while still maintaining excellent ride quality on the road. The mounts of each shock are made out of CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum and come standard in a black hard anodized finish. The bypass tubes are built into the shock and each have their own QAB adjuster to allow awesome levels of adjustability. The remote reservoirs of each coilover feature a finned design to promote excellent oil cooling, as well as a Recirculating Bridge with two lines that promotes awesome levels of oil flow in and out of the reservoir. The mounts of the shocks use a spherical bearing made with PTFE-lined stainless steel. The shocks are designed to drop right into place of stock and come with installation instructions and hardware.
