The ICON 2.5 Series Remove Reservoir Front Coilovers w/CDCV are specifically designed to improve the capabilities of your 4Runner’s front suspension. These coilovers are some of the toughest, most powerful, highest-quality coilovers available on the market today. The ICON 2.5 Series Remote Reservoir Front Coilovers provide your 4Runner with up to 3.5″ of front-end lift, allowing you to fit up to 33″ tires without trimming or modification.
ICON 2.5 Series Shocks
The ICON 2.5 Series Front Coilovers have been explicitly designed to improve the capabilities of your 4Runner’s suspension by increasing the suspension travel. The coilovers offer the best ride quality and handling available for the 4Runner. The coilover kit consists of an ICON 2.5″ aluminum CAD plated shock body surrounded by an ICON-engineered performance coil spring that provides increased front wheel travel over stock and articulation distance without compromising your truck’s smooth street ride quality. These coilovers each feature a 7/8″ Nitro Steel shaft and carefully designed and tuned valving that provides you with maximum performance and reliability. The shock body is wrapped up with a large and high-quality Eibach Coilover spring that’s held in place by CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum upper and lower mounts.
Includes Remote Reservoirs
The final additions for this front-end coilover kit are the remote reservoirs. ICON’s reservoirs are built to the same exacting standards as the coilovers themselves. The reservoirs hold extra oil away from the shock body, which significantly improves cooling for a drastic reduction in fade over standard internal reservoir shocks and coilovers. These versions of ICON reservoirs come fitted with ICON’s unique Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) system that gives the coilovers 10 settings for compression to meet your specific needs or application. The CDCV system controls the rate in which fluid flows from the shock and reservoir all at the turn of a dial while the reservoirs are installed on your 4Runner. The reservoirs come with everything you need, including hoses, mounting brackets, and hardware.
Easy Installation
The installation of the ICON 2.5 Series Remote Reservoir Front Coilovers w/CDCV is fast and easy. The entire system is 100% bolt-on installation and requires no drilling, cutting, or welding, but requires an aftermarket uniball upper control arm kit to ensure the proper amount of wheel travel. ICON includes all necessary installation instructions and hardware and offers a 1-Year Limited Warranty to protect your investment.
Fitment: 2010-2023 Toyota 4Runner
Wheel & Tire Fitment: The recommended aftermarket wheel size is 8-8.5″ wide with a 4.75″ backspace. The recommended aftermarket tire size is 33×11.5″ (Larger tires may fit but fender trimming and modifications will be required).
Note: Requires installation of an aftermarket uniball upper control arm kit to ensure proper wheel travel. Improper wheel travel may lead to premature ball joint wear.
