The 2017-2019 Super Duty is an undeniably tough looking truck straight from the factory, but with an unsightly front rake and smaller than ideal wheels/tires, it could use some improvement both in performance and aesthetics. Icon’s 2.5″ Stage 5 Suspension System does it all by leveling out your F250 or F350’s stance, making room for 35″ tires and taking your off-road performance and street ride quality to a whole new level. This heavy-duty suspension lift includes two extended dual rate coil springs and a complete set of front and rear Icon 2.5 Piggyback Reservoir shocks with CDC (compression damping control) valves for easy manual adjustment to varying terrains. The 2.5″ extended dual rate coil springs achieve improved ground clearance for bigger wheels and tires and more capable off-roading, while the included Icon 2.5 Piggyback Reservoir w/ CDC Valve front and rear shocks perform extremely well on and off the pavement. For the ultimate in off-road performance as well as ride quality and handling, ICON’s dual opposing 2.0 Aluminum Series steering stabilizer kit is included with the Stage 5 Suspension System by Icon. An adjustable track bar designed specifically for the 2017-2019 Super Duty is also included to maintain proper steering geometry. All together, this complete suspension system will deliver optimal control over a variety of rugged terrain and will maintain precise, OE handling and ride quality.
Vehicle-Specific Shock Tuning and Steering Stabilizer
This Stage 5 Suspension System by Icon has been designed specifically for your 2017-2019 Super Duty to provide the ultimate upgrade in off-road performance and ride quality. The included 2.5 Piggyback Reservoir shocks by Icon are built with a 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock which creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. The nitrogen-charged shocks feature a remote reservoir design that improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during heavy-duty and prolonged performance. These fully rebuildable and revalvable shocks include externally adjustable valves that restrict oil flow into the reservoirs, delivering 10 levels of compression damping force. Corrosion resistant CAD plated shock bodies with 7/8″ shafts and FK rod end bearings ensure optimal strength and dependability with minimal deflection no matter how much abuse they’re put through. Together with Icon’s 2.0 Aluminum Series steering stabilizer, your 2017-2019 Super Duty will have the ability to glide over the most uncertain terrain and then cruise down the highway smoothly and accurately.
